about

AISEIRIGH

The project name "Aiseirigh" is of Scottish Gaelic origin and means resurrection, standing metaphorically for the redesign of the selected songs.

This is again done with the utmost respect for the originals and their composers. This is a homage to certain bands and their creations without any financial interest!

I present some cover versions of mainly Metal songs that are more or less iconic to me in a Death / Thrash style that differs from previous covers I did with other projects of mine like CHARIOTS OF FIRE or DAWN OF ANGER

Songs by the following bands are and will be covered:
Bathory, Sadus, Slayer, Possessed, Death, Massacre, The Runaways, S.o.D., Obituary, Hobb's Angel of Death.......
They appear gradually in the current year....

LOGO designed by Heiko Axel
(Friend, co-founder and drummer by SOULDEVOURER)

TRACK BY TRACK

Tracks #1 & #2 "Satan,my Master!"

"Satan, my Master!" was originally released by BATHORY on the album "Jubileum Volume III" 08/1998 Black Mark Production,
but was from a never before released demo from 1984
A demo work, simple but with an exhilarating groove and wonderfully refrain! HAIL SATAN!!!
I created two versions, the first variant is in the original tempo, the second version has faster drumming, but otherwise the riff length corresponds to the original
RIP QUORTHON

Track #3 "Sadus Attack"

"Sadus Attack" is the third track on SADUS' debut album, "Illusions", and was self-produced on Sadus Records in 1988. A fine little thrasher with a striking opening riff composed and celebrated by Darren Travis, Rob Moore, Steve DiGiorgio & Jon Allen.

Track #4 "Sacrificial"

"Sacrifiicial", is the fourth track on DEATH's debut album "Scream Bloody Gore" which was released in May 1987 by Combat Records.
This masterpiece was produced by Randy Burns.
Music & Lyrics by Chuck Schuldiner
Guitars,bass and vocals by Chuck
Drums by another legend, named Chris Reifert!
The riffs & structure are taken from the original, tuning is C# instead of D (3 semitones lower). There were a few variations when playing the drums, including the chorus blasts. The lead guitar section was expanded to include a second solo, the first is based on the original specifications, the second was recorded in the KerryKingWimmerHaken style.
RIP CHUCK

Track #5 "Massacra"

"Massacra" is the second track on HELLHAMMER's EP "Apocalyptic Raids" which was released in March 1984 (recorded between 2nd and 7th March in Berlin) by NOISE Records.
March 2024 will be the 40th anniversary!!!
Music & Lyrics by Tom G. Warrior aka Thomas Gabriel Fischer
Guitars,Vocals by Tom G. Warrior
Drums by Jörg Neubart aka Denial Fiend
Bass by Martin E. Ain aka Martin Erich Stricker (RIP)
The riffs & structure are taken from the original, tuning is C#. Also inspired by the 2023 version from Tom G. Warriors Hellhammer Tribute band "Triumph of Death",released on "Resurrection of the Flesh - Live Album",NOISE Records. There were a few drum variations and a lead section is included different than the original, but that didn't change the structure. The whole song is played at 1.25x tempo compared to the Hellhammer version.
